Project Description: Work to be done includes replacing the first 45 feet of an 84” Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) with an 84” Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) under Pinehurst Road, and repairing the remaining length of 120 feet in place through cleaning, installing a wire mesh and grouting. Work will also include connecting the new RCP to the existing CMP via a concrete collar, placing rock slope protection from the top of embankment to the creek bed and restoring the roadway. A fish passage measure will be introduced at the pipe’s invert.

DBE Program: This project is partially funded by federal funds from U.S. Department of Transportation. The prospective bidders are required to comply with 49 Code of Regulations (CFR) Part 26. The prospective bidders must meet the project-specific Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (UDBE) goal or document the Good Faith Effort (GFE) process. It is important to note that to comply with the County DBE program’s Good Faith Effort, the bidders must take certain actions a minimum of 15 days prior to bid opening.
