CCAS: HERE to Help During COVID-19

We are here to help! During COVID-19, our staff remain focused on the care and support of sick, injured or “at risk” animals.  Contra Costa Animal Services is offering services by appointment at our Martinez facility.  CCAS staff are available to answer calls and emails between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM Tuesdays through Saturdays. For assistance, please call 925-608-8400, email, or view our website for online services.

  • Found a healthy rabbit, dog or cat?  Lost and Found Services can be started online.  Visit our Found a Pet page for more information and resources.
  • Need a license?  Obtaining a license can all be accomplished online now, or you can call us for an appointment.
  • Looking for a new family member?  Virtual Adoptions are available!  Please visit our adoption pages for more information and to see available pets.

CCAS Animal Control Officers are in your community actively responding to matters of public safety, assisting other city agencies, responding to calls for stray sick and injured animals, and investigating animal bites, animal cruelty and neglect. Please call 925-646-2441 for emergency issues and 925-608-8400 for non-emergency issues. For noise concerns and deceased animal reports, you may now take advantage of our online reporting!
