[ARCHIVED] PG&E Announces Power Shutoff in Parts of Contra Costa County

National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning for extreme fire weather conditions. See Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (Con Fire) message and advice.

PG&E has notified the County of a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) for wildfire safety starting as early as Sunday, October 25, at 8 PM. PG&E estimates 15,482 customers in Contra Costa County may be impacted. PG&E says power to Contra Costa customers may be restored by Monday, October 26, evening.

PG&E Community Resource Centers

PG&E has four Community Resource Centers (CRC) in Contra Costa County. The CRCs are open on Sunday, October 25, from 8 AM to 10 PM through the power shutoff event.

o    Costco, 3150 Fostoria Way, Danville

o    Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1035 Carol Lane, Lafayette

o    Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church, 10 Moraga Valley Lane, Moraga
