Teresa is Supervisor Burgis’ Chief of Staff. She also advises the Supervisor on special projects, including the Census 2020 effort. Teresa is a 22 year resident of Contra Costa County and experienced community leader. She has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the quality of life in her community, the region, and the state.
Recently elected to the Lafayette City Council, and with 18 years of service on the Lafayette School Board, a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, and an MBA, she brings the background and experience in governance, communications, advocacy, and community building essential to work with Supervisor Burgis to get things done.
Previously, Teresa served as District Director to State Senator Steve Glazer, and was a political strategist, working with schools, public agencies, and candidates to share their stories with voters. She has a lifelong passion for and commitment to public service.
